Running for fun – ds

We have had some fabulous supporters in the last few months who have been donning their running shoes and pushing their limits to raise funds for ACEF.

Firstly Laurie Teasdale who lives in North Lincolnshire did the Hull 10K run in the Summer, and has collected £100 in sponsorship money for ACEF.

Pam Whatley and her daughter Phoebe who is aged 7 did the Birmingham fun run on the 20th September dressed as a zebra and a penguin!! They raised their target of £100 on Just Giving, plus gift aid.

Deborah Woolfson and Hannah Smith were so moved by what they heard when Liz Formby talked to them about the challenges faced by the children in the slums that they decided to sign up to do one of the things they find the hardest – to run! They did the 10K around Finsbury Park on the 27th Sept and raised £568 !

What a determined gang of supporters we are lucky enough to have – thank you all very much!
