Peaks Against Poverty

There are a few spaces left on our key fundraiser for this year on Saturday 26th October 2019.

Sign-up quickly to let us know that you want to take part.

The “Peaks Against Poverty” walk covers the 9 Edges in the Peak District – Derwent, Stanage, Burbage Upper, Burbage Lower, Froggatt, Curbar, Baslow, Gardoms and Birchen and is a 21 mile hike in beautiful surroundings. There is also a 10 mile walk covering some of these fabulous peaks. Both walks are fully supported by an experienced Mountain Leader who will carry all the necessary equipment to lead a group in the mountains. However you are required to bring a small amount of personal equipment with you and you should of course make time to do some training as this is a challenge worth preparing for!

The walks start at 8.00 am at the Fairholmes Visitor Centre so why not make a weekend of it and stay in the gorgeous peak District with friends.
