Brainhouse Academy has been hit by floods. The school needs our urgent help.
Mathare North, where our school is located, has been devastated by the flash floods which rampaged through the streets tearing down homes, shops, walls and leaving buildings under metres of water.
Brainhouse Academy has been severely damaged - walls knocked down, water polluting everything at ground level. Illness is begining to strike - please help us to Build Back Brainhouse.
What we can do to help

Replace the food supplies
The school had just purchased rice and pulses to feed childrln for the next 3 months. £4000 worth of food has been destroyed by the putrid water. Please help us to provide these funds once again to feed the children.

Replace bedding and clothes
The orphans from the slums live on-site at Brainhouse and when the flood water smashed through the school these dormatories were ruined. Help to buy new mattresses, bedding and clothes for the orphans.

Replace educational resources
Books and educational resources are so precious for the school but all have been lost. Help us to replace text books, science equipment, sports kit and all the general resources needed to teach and learn.
